Home Karaoke

If you are looking for a karaoke system at home, there are several options to choose from. Today I will discuss four of the most popular choices, and explaining the benefits of different configurations.

The first part will discuss the main categories available for the average home system, including:

1. karaoke machines.
2. Karaoke players.
3. Microphones with built-in songs.
4. The configurations for the children.

Looking at the karaoke machines, these systems are either fully employed, including one or two microphones, speakers, amplifier and has a screen to display lyrics. They tend to use Karaoke CD + G discs, the most popular format on the market. Some machines do not include a screen, and must be connected to a TV or monitor to display the lyrics.

Karaoke Players, as the name suggests, only karaoke songs to play. Several players will be able to use different formats, often from CD + G, MP3 + G, and DivX.

Microphones with built-in songs are very mobile and only need a TV or monitor to use. For better sound quality, it’s a good idea to connect to a sound system too. These microphones usually contain a chip with songs in them, if the number of songs and recording quality can vary.

If you are interested in karaoke for children, in general, a karaoke or cheap basic built-in microphone with songs should be enough until they get older. There is not much point in spending a fortune on something that may tire of in a short period of time.

Whichever one of the options is most appropriate for you, the karaoke is fun for the whole family or friends.
